Poem: A Soul-winning Prayer -

Open my eyes, Lord, and give me Your heart
Towards those around me; the lost in their sin,
May all that would hinder Your shining depart,
May they see Jesus, dwelling within.

Help me to listen and help me to wait, 
Help me to see a soul You died to save,
Help me to tell them before it’s too late,
Fill me with hope that is steadfast and brave.

Help me to focus, and teach me to pray—
Help me to see someone precious to You,
Time is now hastening, slipping away,
Give me the love that must mingle with truth.

Lord, hear this prayer that I earnestly bring,
Give me a jewel to glow in my crown,
May souls won through me give praise to the King,
As low at Thy wounded feet we bow down.
