About Upheld by His Grace
Hey friend! How ever you found your way to my little corner of the online world, welcome! I’m so excited you’re here, and I’m grateful for the privilege of speaking into your heart and life a little. This blog is the place where I share what God has been teaching me through devotionals, Bible studies, and poetry. It’s also where I curate the things I love for you—from books to recipes to modest clothing.
Get to Know Me Random Facts:
I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my family—my parents, four siblings, and six nieces and nephews. And my church family comes in for a close second; it is a joy to serve the Lord as part of my local church.
My parents homeschooled me all twelve years of school and I loved it.
Music is a big part of my life. I enjoy singing, playing the piano, and honing my violin skills. I was also a music teacher for several years.
I love working with children. Some of my favorite times are spent cuddling a baby or getting to know a little person.
Currently, I work part-time as a receptionist at a medical office. I have a fascination with all things medical!
I am a fulltime (correspondence) Bible school student.
A Few of My Favorite Things:
Classical concerts.
DIYs, especially involving hand lettering.
Dark chocolate.
Exploring a new hiking trail. And leisurely walks to enjoy the beauties of God’s creation.
Memoirs, biographies, and historical fiction set in Bible times or church history.
Trying a new recipe. Baking and cooking are favorite ways to relax!
Writing (obviously).
Thrifting (yes, I’m one of those gals).
Now it’s your turn. Seriously, please drop me a line and tell me about yourself. I would be honored to pray for you! Also, a big thank you if you choose to sign up for my newsletter—just a quick weekly step into your inbox with some encouragement and a link to my latest post (and of course you can unsubscribe any time). The Lord’s richest blessings on you, friend, as you pursue Him with your whole heart!
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him (Psalm 28:7).
