Christmas Gift Guide 2024

Unique, Affordable Gift Ideas for Everyone

Hey friends, can you believe that Christmas is around the corner? Every year I tell myself that I’m not going to be last minute with my gift buying. But no matter how great your intentions, there will always be that person who’s tough to buy for, or the unexpected need for a hostess gift. That’s why I love browsing gift guides and this year I decided to share some of my favorite ideas with you all. These are all either gifts that I have given, received, or are on-trend for Christmas 2024.

If you have any great gift ideas, PLEASE share below in the comments. Happy shopping!

FYI: I am currently not an affiliate of any company. All these recommendations are here solely for you to find gifts for your loved ones that they’ll enjoy!

For Her

Knitted Chenille Throw (Amazon). My younger sis gave me this blanket in cream color last year for Christmas, and it is so soft and pretty. I love cozying up with it on chilly winter nights. There are so many pretty color options!

Pastel Highlighters (Amazon). These pastel highlighters are such lovely colors. These would make a fun little gift for any lady in your life, and would also be amazing stocking stuffers. I use them on my Bible, which has very thin pages. The colors are soft enough that they don’t bleed through.

Soy Candle. Soy candles are becoming a very popular choice due to their natural ingredients and scents that don’t cause headaches. If you like shopping local small businesses, I’d suggest trying some craft shows or gift shops in your area. Chances are that several local farms may produce these. I have linked an online shop above too, though, if that is more your thing.

Vegan Leather Backpack (Inherit Clothing Co.) Very reasonably priced, this vegan leather backpack is one of my favorite accessories. It looks and feels genuine, and there is so much space inside. I love the pretty brown and I’ve found it to be very sturdy.

Sourdough cookbook & kit. I’ll admit I am not the most faithful sourdough baker, since it proved to be just a bit too much to keep up with in my season of life. I know it’s something I’ll revisit again in the future, and the recipes I tried from this cookbook were all so delicious and easy to make. There are so many delicious options in here. Make it all a fun gift bundle by adding in one of these sourdough kits that has all the basics for sourdough success.

Coffee Table Books. Such fun to browse and aesthetically satisfying, what a fun gift for the book-lover or home decor extraordinaire! Below are some of my favorites:

The Gift of Home by Bre Doucette.

Cozy White Cottage by Liz Marie Galvan.

Garden Maker by Christine Purifoy.

She Made Herself a Home by Rachel Van Klyuve.

Modern Dried Flowers by Angela Maynard.

French Hair Pin or a Hair Stick. These hair pins look so elegant— you can find them on Amazon or unique, vintage options on Lilla Rose. The company’s hair sticks are also just lovely.

Crochet Hook with Floral Clay Handle (Etsy). What a fun, unique gift! Also, these hooks are very comfortable to use for longer periods of time.

Glass Coffee Tumbler with Wooden Cover/Straw (Etsy). How cute is that? Or this one? I love the vertical line look on this option. BTW, these don’t have to just be for coffee.

Heatless Hair Curler (Amazon). I jumped on board the heatless curls bandwagon last year, and have never looked back. My fine hair has so much more volume, holds its curl, and is way healthier.

Modest Fashion Boutique Gift Card. You’ll probably never go wrong with a gift card if you can’t think of anything else. Who doesn’t love some “fun money” to spend? I’ll link some of my favorite online boutiques here that offer e-gift cards.

Inherit Clothing Company.

The Main Street Exchange.

Ada Faye Fashions.

Dainty Jewells.

Grace and Joy Company.

Local Coffee House Gift Card. For the coffee lover. She’ll love an excuse to treat herself to a fancy coffee. I can’t really link this for you, but here’s your chance to support some local small businesses. Since atmosphere is all part of the experience, find a shop that is cute and cozy besides serving delicious coffee.

For Him

Car wash tickets. This is an idea we’ve used over the years for my grandpas and Dad. Especially if you live in upstate NY, trips to the carwash are a must in the winter. Since the gift is small in size, we’ve come up with fun, creative ways to give it—like in varying size boxes wrapped inside each other, or a scavenger hunt with clues.

Neck-tie. Christian Book Distributors has some really nice ones, and Amazon has lots of options as well. This is a perfect gift for the man who wears ties to work or church.

-Graphic-T/Sweat Scripture Shirt. The online store I’ve linked has quite a few other verse options, and Amazon actually offers a large selection of Christian graphic clothing as well.

Favorite snack bag. Especially for the men in my family who “paper-bag” their work lunches, this can be a fun gift. Vending machines are crazy over-priced, so why not give him a gift bag full of his favorite snacks?

Hardware store gift card. Some ideas would include Home Depot’s, Lowes, Runnings, Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware, or any local hardware store.

For the Kids:

Magicolor book (Melissa & Doug). These are perfect for keeping kiddos entertained in the car, at church, at a restaurant, or anywhere, really. They’re low-mess but offer lots of fun!

Stickers (Amazon). What kid doesn’t love playing with stickers? The reusable sticker books I’ve linked here are geared for ages 2-4, but there are, again, so many options to choose from for kids stickers on Amazon. (Reusables are the best, though… such a win-win!)

Kids cooking knife set (Amazon). A fun gift for the little one who likes to help Mama or Daddy in the kitchen! It’s a great way to introduce them to basic knife safety/skills (since these are not sharp) at the same time that they’re helping to chop up some veggies or fruit. The set I’ve linked has quite a few color options to choose from.

Lego Friends sets. This is the younger version of Legos (I believe they can be compatible with the original Legos sets as well). I’ve linked one above as an example, but there are so many fun, cute options to choose from for endless hours of imaginative play!

Melissa & Doug floor puzzle (Amazon). I’ve linked the solar system floor puzzle here, but there’s also some other options like a rainforest or dinosaur puzzle. Education and fun combined.

Do Great Things for God book set (Amazon). This picture book set looks like such a fun way to introduce littles to some of the heroic women of the faith throughout history. So far the set includes 12 biographies of women such as Amy Carmichael, Gladys Alyward, Queen Elizabeth II, Fanny Crosby, and several others.
